They say seeing is believing. This is especially true when it comes to design. When your designers are suggesting finishes and materials, you want to make sure you take time out of your schedule to go and see these materials and finishes in person and confirm that they are what you want.
Here are three reasons why this is crucial:

01

Photos and videos are great, but they are never enough when it comes to your renovation. You will be touching, feeling and seeing the products and materials used in your house for years to come. You want to see them applied in other settings to be sure that they are what you want.

02

Eventually, it is too late to change your mind. If you approve everything and are ready to start the construction phase, you don’t want to be making last minute product changes because you haven’t seen the real life material until the last minute. Changing your mind at this stage can put everything on hold and cost you additional time and money.

03

Putting time aside to go and visit showrooms and previous jobs will only add to the excitement of the process. You will be able to touch and feel your future renovation and seeing the materials used in other settings may give you other ideas of what you like and don’t like. Take the time to do this, you won’t regret it.
