An apartment renovation in Curl Curl that updated a space untouched for four decades with a new kitchen, bathroom and timber flooring.
The Brief
The client had inherited an apartment in Curl Curl that had stood untouched for 40 years. The goal was to update the space for modern living, with a new kitchen, bathroom and flooring throughout.
The Wishlist

WHAT WE DID
Construction Concierge facilitated the construction team needed to update an apartment that had sat untouched for 40 years, and provided design support throughout the process.
We provided design support as the plan for the new kitchen, bathroom and flooring came together, working through decisions on layout, finishes and lighting for a space that hadn’t been updated in decades.
We facilitated the build team and provided ongoing construction support through the kitchen renovation, including new countertops, appliances and storage, the bathroom renovation, and the installation of new timber flooring throughout the apartment.
Throughout the project, the client had support across every stage, from early decisions through to the finished result, while we helped keep the construction team on track.
The Outcome
The result is a Curl Curl apartment with a new kitchen, bathroom and timber flooring throughout, updated for modern living after four decades untouched.
The kitchen and bathroom were brought up to a modern standard, and new flooring was installed throughout the apartment. The client gained a home that reflects the present, while still carrying the character of the original space.

Inheriting a property that hasn’t been touched in decades does not have to mean starting from scratch or losing what made it worth keeping.
