A full home renovation in Hunters Hill that opened up a dated, closed-off layout into a light-filled family home, finished in a Hamptons style and delivered before the arrival of the family’s first child.
The Brief
The clients had bought their home with a clear renovation vision in mind, and needed the right team to bring it to life. With a baby on the way, the project came with a tight deadline that had to be met.
The goal was to open up a dated, closed-off layout and create a more spacious, light-filled home finished in a classic Hamptons style.
The Wishlist
The clients wanted:

– A marble mosaic bathroom with a Hamptons feel
– Original timber panelling retained in the bathroom
– The whole renovation completed to a fixed deadline
The Challenge
The existing home was dated and closed off, which meant very little natural light reached the living spaces.
The project also came with a fixed deadline: the clients were expecting their first child, and needed the renovation completed before the baby arrived.
Without the right coordination, a tight, non-negotiable deadline like this can easily be missed, or force compromises in the finished result to make up lost time.

We facilitated the build team for the project and provided ongoing support through the opening up of the living room, creating an open-plan layout with more natural light and a more spacious kitchen.
Alongside the kitchen and living areas, we supported the bathroom renovation, retaining the original timber wall panelling to complement the new marble mosaic flooring and achieve the classic Hamptons feel the clients wanted.
Throughout construction, the clients had support at every stage, while we helped keep the build on track against the deadline that mattered most to them.
The Outcome
The result is a Hunters Hill home transformed from dated and closed off into an open-plan, light-filled space finished in a classic Hamptons style.
The living room and kitchen were opened up to bring in natural light, and the bathroom was finished with marble mosaic flooring alongside the original timber panelling. The clients gained the home they’d envisioned, delivered on time and within budget, ready for their family to move into with their new baby.
