A New Extension Built Around a Master Retreat
A home extension in Lilyfield that created a master bedroom retreat, new ensuite and laundry renovation.
The Brief
The goal was to create a master bedroom retreat through a new extension, giving the owners a private space away from the rest of the home, along with a new ensuite and laundry renovation.
The Wishlist
The clients wanted:
– A spacious master bedroom, with room for a king bed and a sitting area
– A new ensuite bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and walk-in shower
– A connection to the rear yard through new bifold doors
– A new laundry with custom cabinetry
– A calming, neutral material palette throughout
WHAT WE DID
Construction Concierge facilitated the build team needed to deliver the new extension, and provided ongoing construction support throughout.
We facilitated the build team for the project and provided ongoing support through the construction of the new extension, including the master bedroom with its sitting area and new commercial-framed bifold doors opening to the rear yard.
Alongside the extension, we supported the delivery of the new ensuite, including the freestanding bathtub, walk-in shower with limestone tiles, and custom vanity, as well as the new laundry with its custom cabinetry and satin-finish joinery.
Throughout construction, the clients had support at every stage, while we helped keep the build on track and the team working towards the finished result.
The Outcome
The result is a Lilyfield home with a new extension built around a private master retreat, a luxurious ensuite and a functional new laundry.
The extension delivered a spacious master bedroom with a direct connection to the rear yard, the ensuite was finished to a spa-like standard, and the laundry was upgraded with custom cabinetry. The clients gained a private retreat within their own home, along with practical upgrades to match.
